Which shade should I choose?
The beige is the only one with a natural linen shade, so it has visible weave and a warmer, softer tone, and it sits closest to the light wood legs. The white and black shades are a smooth fabric instead. Beige for a room built on wood, wool and neutrals, white for something brighter, black if you want the lamp to read as a darker shape against a pale wall.
What are the exact dimensions?
18.11 × 11.81 inches (460 × 300 mm), the same footprint as the white and black TOKYO table lamps. It's compact enough for a nightstand or a side table without taking the surface over.
Is it bright enough to read by?
For comfortable reading beside a bed, yes. The linen spreads the light in all directions rather than aiming it, so you get a soft pool across the whole nightstand instead of a beam on the page. If you want a tight reading light while someone else is asleep next to you, a directional lamp does that better. TOKYO is for atmosphere you can sit in.
What bulb does it take, and is it included?
One E26 bulb, not included, so you can pick your own brightness and colour temperature. Max 15W LED, and that's the LED rating, not the light output. A 15W LED puts out roughly the same light as a 100W incandescent, which is more than you want beside a bed at full output. Go 2700K and lower wattage, or a dimmable smart bulb.
Does it come assembled?
It ships flat and takes a few minutes. The three legs attach to the body, the shade goes on top, then you add a bulb. No wiring involved, it plugs into a standard outlet.
Does it match the TOKYO floor lamp?
Yes, same tripod idea and the same linen shade, scaled up. The floor lamp stands 57.5 inches with a 20 inch shade for a corner beside a sofa, and this one sits on a nightstand or a side table. A pair of them in one room is the usual way people use the collection.
Is it dimmable?

How do I clean the linen shade?
A dry microfibre cloth handles dust, or the brush attachment on a vacuum set low. Natural linen marks easily, so keep water off it. For a mark, dab with a barely damp cloth and let it air dry rather than scrubbing. No cleaning sprays.
Can it go in a bathroom or on a covered porch?
No, it's rated for dry locations only. Linen and damp don't mix, so keep it indoors and away from bathrooms with a shower or tub.

By selecting shipping, the customer acknowledges that the shipment is at their own risk. We are unable to provide refunds or replacements for items that are lost or damaged by the carrier.
If your package is lost or arrives damaged, please notify us as soon as possible and provide photographs of the packaging and damaged item. We will assist you in initiating an insurance claim with the shipping carrier on your behalf. Please retain all original packaging and damaged items until the claim has been resolved, as the carrier may require them for inspection.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. If you would like to return an item, you must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order to request return authorization. Returns must be approved by Dekor Butik prior to being shipped back. Once your return has been approved, we will provide the applicable return shipping instructions.
Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. Additional conditions may apply depending on the product.
Shipping & Returns - Special Order Large & Oversized Items
Large items such as furniture, area rugs, and lighting are special order and ship direct from our Canadian vendors. Please allow 15-30 days to receive your order, we will provide you with more accurate delivery times once an order is confirmed.
For large or oversized items, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for return transportation unless the item is defective, damaged upon arrival, or otherwise covered by an approved claim.
Large furniture, rugs, lighting, and other oversized or special-order items may be subject to a restocking fee. Any applicable restocking fee will be communicated at the time of the return request.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or differs from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible and provide photographs of the item and packaging. Do not dispose of the item or packaging until we have advised you how to proceed.
We will work with you to determine the appropriate resolution, which may include a repair, replacement, exchange, or other remedy, depending on the circumstances and availability.
Custom & Special-Order Items
Custom-made, made-to-order, personalized, or special-order items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
This includes, but is not limited to, custom upholstery, custom drapery, custom window coverings, made-to-order furniture, custom-sized rugs, and items ordered specifically for a customer.
Because these items are produced or ordered specifically for you, cancellations are not possible once production or processing has begun.
