This is the smaller of the two LINOBIANCO flush mounts, 17.72 inches across against the large one's 23.62. That difference matters more than it sounds. At this size it settles into a bedroom, a hallway, an entry or a landing without dominating the ceiling, and it is the one to use when you want two or three running down a corridor rather than one big statement. The large is for living rooms and open-plan spaces where 17.72 inches would read as lost.
It sits only 6.30 inches below the ceiling, so it works where a pendant cannot: standard 8-foot ceilings, basements, landings, and anywhere people walk underneath. Should I take this size or the large?
Same fixture, two diameters. This one is 17.72 inches across, the large is 23.62. Go by the room rather than by taste. In a bedroom, hallway, entry, landing or anything under roughly 120 square feet, 17.72 inches reads as proportionate. In a living room, an open-plan space, or a larger bedroom, the 23.62 inch holds the ceiling better and this one starts to look lost. If you are running several down a long hallway, use this size and space them 6 to 8 feet apart.
Will it work on a low ceiling?
That is what a flush mount is for. It sits 6.30 inches below the ceiling with no drop at all, so it clears a standard 8-foot ceiling easily and works in basements, landings, closets and hallways where a pendant would be in the way. If you do have the height and want something hanging, the LINOBIANCO pendants use the same linen and jute.
What bulbs does it take, and are they included?
Four E26 bulbs, not included. Max 15W LED each, but that is the LED wattage, not the light output. A 15W LED is roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent, so four of them is a lot of light for a bedroom or a hallway. Put it on a dimmer if you want the range. Go 2700K for warm light, 3000K for something crisper.
What are the exact dimensions?
17.72 inches (450 mm) across and 6.30 inches (160 mm) deep. It mounts flat to the ceiling with no drop, so the 6.30 inches is the full height it sits below the ceiling.
What are the shades made from?
A woven jute band around a white linen upper shade, on a metal frame. Both are natural fibres, so the texture is visible up close and the light passing through picks up the weave. That is what makes the glow softer and warmer than a glass or acrylic diffuser.
Is it dimmable?
Yes, with an external dimmer switch or dimmable smart bulbs. No integrated dimmer in the fixture, so you can use whatever system you already have. Worth doing with four bulbs in a bedroom.
Does it need one ceiling box or several?
One. All four lights run from a single canopy, so there is no extra wiring or additional junction boxes.
How do I clean the linen and jute?
Dust it with a dry microfibre cloth, or the brush attachment on a vacuum set low. Natural fibres mark easily, so keep water off them. For a spot, dab with a barely damp cloth and let it air dry rather than scrubbing. No cleaning sprays.
Can it go in a bathroom or on a covered porch?
No, it's rated for dry locations only. Keep it out of bathrooms with a shower or tub, and out of anywhere exposed to damp. Natural fibres and humidity are a bad combination.
Is it approved for Canadian electrical code?
Yes. cUL listed for both Canada and the US, so it passes inspection and won't cause issues with insurance or a home sale. Made in Poland by TK Lighting.
Do I need an electrician?
It's a hardwired fixture that requires installation. If you're replacing an existing ceiling light on the same box, many people handle it themselves. If you're adding a new box or moving the location, use a licensed electrician.

What if it doesn't work in the space?
30-day returns on uninstalled fixtures. Send it back within 30 days of delivery in its original packaging, uninstalled and unmodified. Once installed, it's no longer eligible for return.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. If you would like to return an item, you must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order to request return authorization. Returns must be approved by Dekor Butik prior to being shipped back. Once your return has been approved, we will provide the applicable return shipping instructions.
Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. Additional conditions may apply depending on the product.

Large items such as furniture, area rugs, and lighting are special order and ship direct from our Canadian vendors. Please allow 15-30 days to receive your order, we will provide you with more accurate delivery times once an order is confirmed.
For large or oversized items, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for return transportation unless the item is defective, damaged upon arrival, or otherwise covered by an approved claim.
Large furniture, rugs, lighting, and other oversized or special-order items may be subject to a restocking fee. Any applicable restocking fee will be communicated at the time of the return request.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or differs from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible and provide photographs of the item and packaging. Do not dispose of the item or packaging until we have advised you how to proceed.
We will work with you to determine the appropriate resolution, which may include a repair, replacement, exchange, or other remedy, depending on the circumstances and availability.
